Hi, I’m Taylore – I’m really glad you’re here.

Finding a therapist can feel vulnerable and overwhelming, and just being here says a lot about your willingness to care for yourself.

I’m a licensed counselor and have been working in the field since 2015. I love helping people understand themselves more deeply, work through emotional and relationship patterns, and build a life rooted in self-compassion, skillfulness, and a stronger sense of self.

In my free time, you can find me going on long walks with my pup, making music, and traveling around this beautiful world.

I look forward to connecting with you! Email me here and follow me on Instagram here.

Therapy can be a powerful place for healing, understanding, and real change.

I work with people who are struggling with big emotions, painful relationship patterns, and experiences that feel heavy or hard to carry alone. Together, we focus on understanding your inner world, building emotional regulation skills, and gently healing the parts of you shaped by past experiences and attachment wounds.

My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, mindfulness, and self-compassion practices, but more than anything I focus on creating a space that feels safe, supportive, and human.

I often work with people navigating:

  • Emotional overwhelm and dysregulation
  • Painful, unhealthy relationships and codependency
  • Childhood and attachment wounds
  • Shame and self-criticism
  • Body image concerns

Simply put, I’m here to help you make sense of what you’re going through and build steadier, healthier ways of relating — to yourself and to others.

I believe therapy should be accessible and affordable.

Frequently Asked Questions

I am here to answer any questions you might have! The best way to reach me is at taylore@deeprootscounselingstl.com

Do you take insurance?

Absolutely! I am in-network with UHC, Cigna, Aetna and Humana plans. In most situations, I also provide Superbills to those who would like to use out-of-network benefits.

What is the cost of a therapy session?

If you are not using insurance the cost is $150 per 55-minute session. In certain circumstances, a reduced rate may be offered for a limited number of sessions.

What is your late cancellation/no-show policy?

If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment or you give less than 24 hour notice of a cancellation, you will be charged the fee identified in the initial paperwork you receive. Certain circumstances may waive the cancellation/no-show fee.

Are sessions virtual or in person?

Both! As long as you are located in Missouri at the time of session, we can meet virtually. If you’re able, an in-person session in St. Louis is a great option!
